Incorporated in May 2018, The Silver Closet was born from a conversation between a senior housing professional and a real estate agent. One had clients without anything. The other had clients with too much stuff. Why not connect these two populations to specifically serve seniors? The Silver Closet was born. 
 
We exist not only to provide gently used household goods to seniors, but also to offer health, safety, and dignity to our seniors in senior housing communities. 

As a young new non profit, our funding comes from private donations, fund raisers, and sponsorships.
